Basic functionality and preferences
Amisko uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in and to remember your choices. Not all information stored in your browser is used for analytics or advertising.
- Sign-in cookies: maintain and renew your session and remember your sign-in choice. Their lifetime depends on the relevant sign-in session.
- cookie_consent: stores your analytics and marketing category choices for 180 days after saving.
- NEXT_LOCALE: stores the selected language as a session cookie. Removal also depends on your browser’s session restoration behaviour.
- Local storage: theme stores your appearance preference; profile-network:last-actor-profile-id remembers your last selected profile. These preferences have no automatic expiry and remain until changed or cleared.
Optional technologies
Preferences distinguish analytics and marketing categories. Analytics can measure site traffic; marketing tools can measure campaigns or personalise content. A category appearing in preferences does not by itself mean a particular tool is deployed.
The final document must list the optional tools actually deployed, their providers, purposes and retention periods. This draft is not yet a complete inventory of technologies used in production.
Changing your choices
Open preferences using the button on this page or Cookies in the top menu. You can decline optional categories, allow selected categories or accept all. Basic technical functions are separate from optional categories.
Saving a new choice does not itself erase every cookie or item of data already created by external services. You can also clear site data in your browser; doing so may sign you out and remove saved preferences.
